Living A Dream (Literally)
I am an Island girl, born and raised. Growing up in the Cayman Islands, as well as traveling to the Bahamas with my family when I was younger, means I have experienced lots of snorkeling, fishing, and ocean life. I have had huge manta rays swim right beneath me, and 7-foot barracudas inches away from my face. But not even these childhood memories could have prepared me for the beauty that I was blessed to discover here in Utila, Honduras.
Neptune’s Favorite Twist!
So we decided to start with a Neptune’s Beach Bar & Grill favorite with a twist. The Blue Hawaiian is a Piña Colada close relative and with just a sip it will take you to our beach in a warm sunny day!
UTILA Isla de Bahia-The Authentic Island Experience Still Exists
This tiny island is not the Caribbean of the $16 piña colada or the orchestrated see-only-what-the-cruise-operators-want-you-to-see routes. There are no behemoth ships in port here because the islanders (approximately 2,500) don’t want them. Head to sister island Roatan for mainstream tourism, canopy tour excursions and higher prices.
